Follow NE Commerce: New Arrivals, Restocks and Offers First

Most people who follow a retailer on social media do it for one of two reasons: they want to know when something they use comes back into stock, or they want to know when the price changes. That is roughly what our accounts are for. This post explains what we actually post, how often, and which channel is worth your time — so you can decide whether following NE Commerce is useful to you rather than just being asked to tap a button.

Why we post at all

NE Commerce stocks around 6,000 products across more than 240 brands, covering protein powders, pre-workout, creatine, protein bars, energy drinks and vitamins. That range moves. New lines land, flavours rotate, popular sizes sell through and come back, and brands launch reformulations and new products throughout the year.

The website is always the source of truth, but nobody wants to refresh a collection page on the off-chance. Social is simply the fastest way for us to tell you something changed on the day it changed. That is the whole proposition. We are not trying to build a lifestyle brand in your feed.

What we actually post

New arrivals as they land

When a new product goes live, we post it. That is the main thing our feeds are for. If you follow supplements closely, you will know the frustration of finding out a brand launched something three months ago. New stock arrives regularly from across our 240+ brand range, and the New In collection is where it appears first on site — social posts point straight at it.

Restocks of popular lines

Some products sell through faster than others. If you have ever added something to your basket and found it unavailable, a restock post is the useful thing we can offer you. We flag popular lines coming back rather than posting about every single SKU movement, because a feed full of stock notifications is a feed people mute.

Price drops when they happen

When prices come down, we say so. We do not run a permanent countdown clock or invent urgency. Our Sale and Clearance collections are live on the site and you can browse them any time without following anyone. Social just means you hear about a change on the day rather than on your next visit.

To be direct about it: we are not going to promise you a specific discount for following us, and we do not run social-only codes. If we ever change that, we will post it plainly. Promising an offer we have not committed to would be an easy way to get follows and a bad way to keep them.

Brand news

Formulation changes, new flavours, tub size changes, discontinued lines — these matter if you buy the same product repeatedly. When a brand tells us something worth passing on, we pass it on without dressing it up.

The offer for new customers, stated plainly

There is a standing discount code for first orders and it is not a social exclusive: WELCOME5 takes £5 off a first order over £30. It is live now, it applies to new customers, and you do not need to follow us to use it. We mention it here because it is the honest answer to "is there an offer on?" — and because it is better to tell you than to make you hunt for it.

Which channel to follow

They are not identical. Pick whichever fits how you use social rather than following all four out of habit.

  • Instagram — @necommerceltd. The most visual of the four. Best for seeing new arrivals and flavours as they land. If you only follow one, this is probably it.
  • Facebook — NE Commerce. Longer posts, restock notices and brand news. Useful if Facebook is where you already spend time and you want the detail rather than the photo.
  • X — @necommerceltd. Short and fast. Best for time-sensitive things: something is back, something changed price today.
  • Reddit — u/necommerce. Different in kind. We are not there to advertise at people. Reddit is where questions get asked properly and answered properly, and where you can push back on us in public. If you want to ask something awkward about a product or an order, that is a reasonable place to do it.

What we will not do in your feed

Worth setting expectations, because plenty of supplement accounts do the opposite.

We will not tell you a product burns fat, builds muscle, boosts your immune system or fixes anything. UK advertising rules are strict about health claims for supplements, and we think they are broadly right to be. What we will do is describe what is in a product, what size it comes in, what it costs and whether it is in stock. If you want to know what a product does, read the ingredients and make your own call — or ask us and we will tell you what we actually know.

We also will not fabricate scarcity, invent countdowns, or run giveaways we have not actually organised. And we will not claim to be the cheapest or the biggest sports nutrition retailer in the UK, because we would have to prove it and it is not the reason to shop with us anyway.

How this fits with ordering

The practical reason a restock post is worth anything is that you can act on it the same day. Order before 3pm Monday to Friday and it is dispatched that day on fast tracked UK delivery, typically arriving within 1-2 working days. So a post at 10am about something coming back into stock is genuinely actionable, not just news.

That is also why we try to post at the moment stock changes rather than batching announcements into a weekly round-up. A round-up of things that already sold out is not useful to anybody.

The honest summary

Follow us if you buy sports nutrition regularly and want to know when things land, come back or drop in price — from a shop that will tell you plainly and will not pretend a protein powder is medicine. Do not follow us if you are hoping for a stream of exclusive codes, because we do not have one to give you.

If you would rather not follow anyone at all, that is fine too. New In, Sale and Clearance are on the site and always current, alongside protein powders, pre-workout, creatine, protein bars and snacks, energy drinks and vitamins and health. Social is a convenience, not a gate.
