Mutant: a simple buying guide
Share
Mutant is a performance brand with a range split between larger flavoured products and its plain-ingredient Core line. The best-known products are Mutant Madness pre-workout, Mutant Mass and Mass Extreme gainers (including dual-chamber tubs), Hardcore Whey, Iso Surge whey isolate, Creakong creatine, Creatine Bytz chewables and GEAAR EAAs.
The Core line covers basics such as L-glutamine, L-carnitine, ZM8+ and Core Multi, and there are also Hardcore BCAA, Big Greens, MCT oil and Mutant shakers. Choose Core products if you want a single ingredient at a simple dose, or the flavoured blends if you prefer a ready-made formula. Mutant Madness is a stimulant pre-workout, so check the caffeine per serving on the label. Creatine increases physical performance in successive bursts of short-term, high intensity exercise, with the beneficial effect obtained from a daily intake of 3 g.
