Minerals

Single minerals and mineral complexes — magnesium, zinc, iron, calcium, selenium, iodine, potassium and chromium — in tablets, capsules, powders and liquids.

The form on the label matters as much as the milligrams. Magnesium, for instance, is sold as citrate, glycinate, malate, taurate and oxide, and the elemental magnesium per serving differs between them, so read the nutrition panel rather than the pack front. The same applies to zinc (picolinate, citrate, gluconate) and iron (bisglycinate, sulphate, fumarate). Chelated forms are usually gentler on the stomach and cost more. Many multivitamins in vitamins already include minerals, so check for overlap before adding a single. Combined ZMA-style formulas sit in sleep & relaxation, and electrolyte minerals for training are in hydration & electrolytes.
