Liquids are chosen for three reasons: they are easy to take for anyone who dislikes pills, the dose can be adjusted precisely by the drop, and they suit children and older adults. The trade-off is shelf life and storage — many need refrigerating once opened, and the dropper measurement on the label is what determines the serving, so read it before you pour. Flavoured versions are usually made to be taken straight; unflavoured ones go into juice or water.
