Single-serve liquid shots in small bottles, usually sold by the case — pre-workout and pump shots, energy shots, amino and collagen shots, and vitamin or mineral shots.

A shot is a fixed dose in 50–100ml with nothing to mix, which makes it the format of choice for the gym bag, race day or a long drive. That convenience costs more per serving than the powdered equivalent, and the dose is set by the manufacturer rather than by you. Check caffeine content on stimulant shots, as concentrations are high in a small volume. Cases give the lowest price per bottle.
